What is National Cherry Day?
Celebrated on July 16th every year, National Cherry Day shines a spotlight on this delicious stone fruit. Cherries are high in antioxidants, contain lots of Vitamin C, and may even have some antioxidant properties. Definitely a good choice for a snack, but why not also a tipple?
Cherry Products at Yarm Distillery
Offering a warm and rich flavour, our cherry liqueurs are perfect enjoyed solo, poured over ice cream, or used to create an indulgent hot drink. These would be an ideal present for a loved one this National Cherry Day (or as a treat for yourself!):

- A Sex on the Beach cocktail is traditionally garnished with cherries, but can be customised further by using half cranberry and half cherry juice! Try it with Yarm Vodka for the perfect summer vibes.
- Using traditional Kirsch (a clear spirit made from sour cherries), this Cherry Sour recipe is perfect for those who prefer a sharper tipple, and offers a beautiful deep red colour.
- Another ruby-red cocktail to try is the Cherry Bakewell Spritz — marry Yarm Gin with amaretto for a fruity kick.
